there is a person behind all of this and he (ME) is alive. AND CONSCIOUS!
LIFE holds potentials for great ecstasy AND great misery. and i choose,
CONSCIOUSLY,
anything that leads toward the ecstatic. i also understand and have
values for what makes it
possible to achieve ecstasy. - and pride and joy, etc... and all of
it is particular to me in details,
even if the principles are universal to everyone. these details are
my "interests".
foremost is the uninhibited capacity of my ability to understand and
my illimitable capacity to conceive,
meaning the full capacity of my mind. and i tolerate no mess about
it. after that, i suppose there are
probably more things in details that you would not do, which i would,
and that's not important to me
anyway and shouldn't be to you. unless you can back it up with real
evidence that no one who wants
to do what i want, should -or should noT- do that.
now, in respects to to the mind, i'm not stupid enough to think that
it is my "goodluck" to be the
only one ever to have developed a mind, so i regard it as something
that anyone may develop
on their own, but only after the rigorous, strenuous, and !!! necessary!!!-
effort.
i bet you thought thinking was automatic.
and in fact most people have no real choice about whether their
mind develops, but that's not a
guarantee that it either develops well or that what one uses to develop
it is actually good. each of us
does this by means of understanding and exercising ideas and abstractions.
and, often as not, these
abstractions are false.
this can be a real problem if one doesn't recognise it. and that's
your first job.
